Mithi Gobindam Public School Organized Orientation Program for Parents of Standard 1st for 2024-25 Session

Mithi Govindam Public School held an Orientation Program for Parents of Standard 1 for the upcoming 2024-25 session, at Navnidh Harsomal Lakhani Public School Auditorium. The aim of the program was to acquaint parents with the curriculum, rules and regulations, teaching methodologies, and post-exam grooming classes.

The event commenced with a warm welcome speech by Ms. Asha Changlani, Vice Principal of Mithi Govindam Public School, followed by an address by Coordinator, Ms. Mini Nair. She elaborated on school policies regarding uniforms, diaries, school transport, homework, notebooks, and bag weight. She also introduced the class teachers of Standard 1 ABC- Ms. Rashmi Sujwani, Ms. Neetu Yadav, and Ms. Pratibha Dubey, respectively.

Further more teachers Ms. Neetu Yadav and Ms. Srishti Singh, briefed parents about the post-exam grooming classes. The post-exam grooming classes, catering to students of Standard 1, 2, 3, and Standard 11, will be conducted free of cost from March 15th to March 28th, 2024. These classes will cover various activities such as public speaking, table manners, sports and games, art and craft, phonetics for young children, and AI lab activities.

Ms. Asha Changlani, Vice Principal, emphasized the holistic development of children, aligning with the principles of the National Education Policy (NEP). She underscored the importance of speaking abilities and urged parents to ensure regular attendance of their children. Furthermore, she elaborated on exam policies and introduced the new NEP initiative, "bagless day."

The vote of thanks was proposed by Mrs. Deepa Bhagwani, Coordinator of Vidya Sagar Public School, expressing gratitude to all participants. Additionally, a mesmerizing welcome song was presented by Mr. Bhupesh Pathak and Ms. Yogita Sharma from the cultural department. The program was successfully compered by Ms. Pratibha Dubey, ensuring a seamless flow of events.
