Mithi Gobindram Public School Holds Investiture Ceremony
Formal Recognition of the New Student Leadership
On 11th August 2025, Mithi Gobindram Public School hosted its Investiture and Oath-Taking Ceremony for the newly elected Student Council in a solemn and inspiring atmosphere. The event not only recognised the leadership skills of the students but also aimed to nurture their sense of organisation, responsibility, and service — marking an important step in their journey of self-development.
The pious presence of Shraddhey Siddh Bhauji, President of Shaheed Hemu Kalani Educational Society, blessed the occasion and inspired the gathering.
Lt. Col. Ishan R (Retd.), the Chief Guest, congratulated the newly elected members and highlighted that self-discipline is the foundation of an impactful personality. He shared that hard work is the only key to success and warned against over-reliance on technology, urging students to remain focused, determined, and true to their values.
Sub-Inspector K.J. Malviya, Guest of Honour, encouraged the young generation to stay away from harmful addictions and to embrace a healthy routine enriched with exercise, nutritious food, moral values, reading, and constructive activities.
The Secretary of SHKES, Shri Ghanshyam Bulchandani, in his message, described the Student Council as a strong medium for practising democratic leadership while instilling discipline and responsibility.
The Principal, Mr. A. N. Manikandan, administered the oath of office and secrecy to the council members, who pledged to maintain the dignity of the school, uphold discipline, and perform their duties with sincerity.
The Vice Principal, Mrs. Rekha Kewlani, in her welcome address, stated that the Student Council not only helps in maintaining discipline but also instils leadership, organisational skills, and a sense of responsibility in students.
The ceremony included cultural performances by Grade VI students, who presented melodious songs and graceful dances to inspire the newly elected members toward their path of duty.
The School Captain, Mohit Dey, in his pledge speech, assured that the Council would act as a strong bridge between the school and the student community, working with fairness, courage, and dedication.
The Chief Guest presented the school flag to the School Captain, who, in turn, vowed to uphold the principles of the Council and work tirelessly for the school’s progress.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks proposed by Vice Captain Nilesh Motwani, followed by the National Anthem, marking the successful beginning of the Student Council’s tenure for the academic year 2025–26.
The occasion was further graced by the presence of Shri Hero Gyanchandani, Vice President, SHKES; Shri Bhagwan Das Damani, Treasurer, SHKES; Shri Thanwardas Varlani, Member of the Management; and Shri Gopal Girdhani, Academic Director, SHKES.
