Forgiveness Day Observed at Mithi Gobindram Public School

Mithi Gobindram Public School observed Forgiveness Day on 2nd August 2025 in a reflective and inspiring atmosphere. The aim was to nurture values like forgiveness, compassion, and self-awareness among students.

The morning assembly began with Mrs. Anju Gogia explaining the importance of International Forgiveness Day, urging students to let go of anger, jealousy, and grudges to find inner peace.

Inspired by the Sadhu Vaswani Mission, a special “Let it Go Box” activity was conducted in all classes. Students wrote down what they wished to release and dropped their slips into the box. In a remarkable show of unity, teachers, heads, and supporting staff also participated, making it a whole-school initiative toward emotional well-being and personal growth.

Principal Mr. A. N. Manikandan emphasized that education must lead to moral and emotional development, stating, “Forgiveness is a powerful path to self-development.”

The program was attended by Shri Ghanshyam Bulchandani, Secretary SHKES, Academic Director Mr. Gopal Girdhani, Vice Principal Mrs. Rekha Kewlani, coordinators, teachers, and students. It concluded with participants exchanging smiles and apologies, marking a meaningful new beginning.
