Little Ones Bring Krishna’s Leela Alive at MGPS Janmashtami Celebration
On 14th August, Mithi Gobindram Public School celebrated Krishna Janmashtami with devotion and joy, aiming to instill Indian culture, moral values, and spiritual fervor in children.
The campus turned divine as Class 1 & 2 students dressed as Lord Krishna, Radha, gopis, gwalas, and Nand Baba. A beautifully decorated jhanki of Lord Krishna’s cradle was the centrepiece, inaugurated with lamp lighting and garlanding.
Guided by Ms. Neetu Yadav and Ms. Srishti Singh, students hosted the program confidently. Melodious songs, devotional dances on “Govind Bolo Hari Gopal Bolo”, soulful instrumental performances, and a touching dance drama on Krishna-Sudama friendship kept the audience spellbound. The Matki Phod Mahotsav by Class 4 added zeal, echoing chants of “Hathi Ghoda Palki, Jai Kanhaiya Lal Ki.”
Shri Ghanshyam Bulchandani Secretary SHKES, praised the event for deepening students’ respect for traditions, while Principal Mr. A N Manikandan highlighted its role in holistic development. The celebration concluded with blessings from Principal Mr. A.N. Manikandan, in the gracious presence of School Secretary Mr. Ghanshyam Bulchandani, Academic Director Mr. Girdhani, Vice Principal Mrs. Rekha Kewlani, all coordinators & primary teachers.
